We provide DJ services for weddings, corporate events, private parties and evening receptions. The team handles music curation, MC duties and professional sound and lighting to suit your event.

Where are you based and do you travel?

We're based in London, England and also serve clients across Surrey and nearby areas. Travel and venue access are discussed during booking to confirm logistics.

Can we request songs or create a custom playlist?

Yes — we work closely with you to build a tailored set list and accept song requests. We can create custom playlists for ceremony, reception and evening dancing.

Do you provide equipment and lighting?

Yes, we supply professional PA, lighting and all necessary cabling and always carry backup gear to avoid interruptions. Our setup is scalable to suit intimate venues or large ballrooms.

Do you offer MC services and timeline coordination?

We provide MC services to guide your event flow and liaise with suppliers to keep the schedule on track. Our DJs make announcements tastefully and work with planners to avoid clashes.

How far in advance should we book?

Book as early as possible to secure popular dates since availability varies by season. We’ll discuss deposit and contract details during your booking consultation.

Can you handle ceremony and reception sound?

Yes, we can provide discreet ceremony PA, wireless microphones and programmed music for processional and recessional moments. We transition smoothly into reception sets and coordinate cues with musicians or officiants when needed.

How do consultations work?

We offer an initial consultation—virtual or in-person—to discuss music preferences, timings and special requests. After that we provide a planning checklist and work with you to finalise the set list.

Laura is simply the best! She DJ’d our wedding and made the whole process of getting a DJ so enjoyable. From the initial booking and chats about the vibe we wanted, to absolutely smashing it on the big day! Her attention to detail and genuine care for us really stood out and put our minds at ease. Laura DJ’d our wedding, with abi rose as the saxophonist, and both killed it. Everyone has commented since how good the music was - and also a perfect mix of crowd pleasers and more of the disco/funk/soul we love and had discussed. Communication was great and both were also really good fun - made us feel relaxed in the build up. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Laura was incredible. Totally understood the atmosphere that we wanted for our wedding and played the best music. We had lots of compliments on what a fun evening it was. Also loved the extra videos she took from behind the DJ booth! Would definitely recommend.

We hired the Spin Sisters as our DJ for our wedding. It was a long set commencing from 3pm until 1am and we asked Laura Harvey to take us on a musical journey throughout the years, to ensure the music differed from what was played during the wedding breakfast and evening reception. All I can say is WOW! Laura absolutely nailed it and was a huge hit with our guests. Laura was able to test tracks to see what kept the dance floor occupied and absolutely delivered!! Can’t thank you enough for making our wedding so memorable. I will certainly be recommending the Spin Sisters (especially Laura) to all my friends and family for any special events they plan in the future. Thank you so much Laura. :)
